I just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU (could you have guessed?) to everyone at the GCE for being so welcoming and friendly! It was so nice to finally put some names with some faces. I really enjoyed getting to know you all!

Unfortunately, due to thunderstorms in Houston (gasp!) I didn't make the party on Friday night and therefore missed the chance to play furniture tetris. :(

I thought the show went great--ok, so I don't have any other CGE to compare it to, but I had a blast playing jeopardy , modeling the auction items, and just shooting the breeze --too many to name names :)
Thanks so much for everything. And of course, thanks to Joe, who got me out there in the first place....

YOU ARE ALL GREAT!!!

No, thank YOU Janice! It was great just shooting the breeze with you during the "down times." You fit in wonderfully with our madcap crowd and did a fine job as our spokesmodel to boot. Plus, you're genuinely a nice person to be around. Hope you had fun and I look forward to seeing you next year! Take care!

P.S. How was your flight back home? I saw that the east coast was getting hammered with T-storms the day you were to head back.

And you, my dear Janice, are incredibly gorgeous in person.

I can :D

Janice, without you there we'd all have to be looking at Tim too much and no one wants that. LOL j/k

But seriously it was nice to see you there.

I never really did get a chance to say "hi" or anything, but you seem very nice and you handle a Jeopardy board like a champ! We're glad you could be there! :) It made the weekend a lot more fun!

BTW, Tim really does have a great Game Show Host voice. He was perfect. "Ohhhh. I'm sor-reee. The correct answer was Activision! ... activision" *imagine appropriate game show host head gestures*

(I couldn't remeber an actaul anwser, so Activision is in there for effect)

Janice, you're a doll - it was great to see you there. Even though the only time I got within five feet of you, I was ogling whatever auction item you were holding! LOL

Well, first off, JOE is the one who should be thanked! He made all the arrangements, etc, even on TOP of arrnaging everything else with the expo!
NOTE: Joe, NEVER fly into Houston!
My flight home was actually smooth sailing once I got to the airport. (thats a funny story--me in cab in leopard print pj's!) There was a small delay on the second leg, but nothing to complain about :) Back on the east coast and feelin'fine!

Tim-whaddya say we quite the mundane real-life world and give TV Game shows a shot? I have practiced my Vanna-wave. Elbow-elbow-wrist-wrist....

*You are all too kind with your complements! :embarrassed:

Well if Kris says you're good looking then it must be true ;)

It was great to see you, even though we hardly got a chance to talk...

Several people actually asked me when we were playing Furniture Tetris.

"We have to wait for Janice."

"Well, I can take her place."

"NO. It has to be TheRedEye vs. TheSpokesmodel, and that's that."

"...okay."

Then I threw a lamp through a TV or something. I don't know, it's all hazy.

Next year, my dear. Next year. I'll even wear the ears.

Thanks for coming this year Janice, all of the compliments everyone has given thus far are really fitting for you. Nice, absolutely gorgeous, and I'd say Vanna's got nothin' on you!

Plus, being the kid geek, thanks for talking to me. :embarrassed: :)

J-Nice!

I'm glad the rest of the community got to meet the warm, down-to-earth lady that I've known for awhile now. You're a class act, I'm proud to have you as part of this team.

Looking forward to working with you again :) Thanks!

Janice,

Though the straight, single, guy that I am makes me want to say "gee, I wish I'd been there to meet such a lovely young lady as you appear in your photos", instead the even more tactful sympathetic guy that I am will ask "didn't they at least let you preview the items in the auction so you'd know how ungainly or heavy -- or even just WHAT -- they were?".

:-)
