Sunday when I reached the flea market,I visited a vendor who had a Razor E200 scooter that another vendor who I talked to in the past wanted me to fix...It was dropped off there for me..Here I am pushing my daughter in a baby carriage with my two sons on two razor dirtbikes,UGH how am I going to get this thing home.
.to make the long story (below) short,I bought it for $20.00,got it going as I have the charger .We�ve been riding it around the house lol.

The vendor has two scooters,this is one of three vendors that asked if I�d fix these type scooters for them to resell.
One bike has no rear wheel or plate as he says,that�s a bit to much to fix to resell..
I explained to all of them at different times that after parts,batteries,repair,buying the charger and ,shoot lets not leave out labor cost... it�s not worth it..after all of that your not going to get your money back.
..they look at me like I�m going to magically make the bikes work but each bike is a different problem,I don�t do the repairs I do for profit I do it for My kids..I buy the bikes and fix them up with no thought of resale.
Vendors hear what I say and it goes in one ear and out the other,they just wanna make max money.
I can�t get myself into spending for parts for these scoots then the vendor say,oh no I wont pay that.

Of course every time we bring the bikes to the flea markets we are asked if selling over and over �but� people are not willing to pay what these bikes cost..I�m not going to sell a fully working $400.00 electric dirt bike for $25.00

I'm just glad razorama.com is still around selling new parts for all their legacy electrics. I rebuilt some Pocket Rocket PR200's for a relative's friend last year and it was nice to show them an exact parts list with prices for everything they'd need and then my final work price on top of that. I'm waiting for the day they discontinue some of the old parts and blow them out so I can stock up.

Oh and today I got a free PS1 (exciting yes?) with 2 Sony brand memory cards in exchange for repairing my friends NES. Went with the boil the 72 pin method. Shocked the hell out of me when it actually worked.

it was made in japan. it works. 'cept when you reset it. you have to remove the cart and put it back in.

So you're playing the SFC version of Super Mario RPG? Poop I was hoping to narrow down which versions of the US cart work on what. That seems to be one of the sticking points for all the clone type systems.

no the us ver. it says on the back of the label "MADE IN JAPAN" not in mexico.

The day of the sports games.

Not a bad turnout...found lots of game items just common stuff..Original Xbox system consoles only..Price $20.00 each.passed.

Bins of misc games that I smiled when looking knowing later other game pickers will be doing the same search.though they may pick up the BS I pass up..
Prices on things were ok just not any bargains..games worth $5.00 were $5.00 Firm..

Flea Market:
If you know anything about me I race small motorcycles so when I saw the next item I stopped short.
From what I do know it�s a COOLSTER Chinese made honda clone..a bad designed,poor metals used bike..
Great as a backyard woods blaster if found cheap,but for racing It�ll fall apart one race in..
I believe it�s a 125cc manual clutch bike..
Another vendor who knows I like this stuff was pushing me to buy it when I tried to look it over that I didn�t get to look as at it much as I wanted to..,it was so badly rusted,the cables frozen rusted..
In this condition maybe stolen,dumped,seized motor ..
I attempted to kick it over and it felt like pushing my foot into thick mud,not right..
$300.00 Firm for a china bike in this condition... I passed..
Just way to much money to try and savage,save it..

first time I have posted any finds in a while, usually get too wrapped up in something and I forget.

Picked up this TV and A/V switcher a few days ago at goodwill as-is store

this is why I picked up the tv, SCART! on a US tv. Thought it odd but it worked and was cheap, has a lot of inputs for a tv this size especially one from '06

I think it was sold in the US, because it seems that it was made in Tijuana, Baja California in Mexico, where many Samsung products for the US market were produced.

I don't remember many products like this, it is very interesting for me because i have a few scart cables for my consoles and no longer have any video processor or monitor that supports scart ... makes me wanna get one !

I did a lot of flea market shopping today, burned a tank of gas and ended up with a $178 speeding ticket in a little country town. I don't think it was all worth it. All I bought was this Split Second handheld. If it's not complete in box, it's very nearly (I don't know what was packed in it back in the day). The sales guy hemmed and hawed while examining it, like he was going to charge me a million dollars for it, and then he sold it to me for $6. Nice. Sadly it was the only thing of interest I came across today.

I can confirm that that LCD was sold in the us. It was also a black Friday item from staples in 2006 or 2007. There was also a smaller version that had scart, the 910mw.

Thanks for the info, I'll be looking for the SyncMaster 910mw too. I was checking prices on ebay for the 940mw and many were sold for 60 usd, I hope to find a seller willing to ship to M�xico :)

I forgot to mention that it is a worldwide tv, so it supports pal,NTSC, scart and the Japanese RGB (same shape as scart) . All you have to do is to select the region in the menu.

These were part of a $.99 sale for DVDs, CDs and games at a Goodwill bookstore. The Six Seasons and a Movie DVD is a document of a Community-related art show in Los Angeles.

It uses regular grounded 110v

its not but according to the manual I found on samsumgs website theres supposed to be an adapter that goes into that antenna socket with a coax end to screw a cable cable to it

7192This Sunday was the monthly Rose Bowl Flea Market, got this thing from a lady who usually charges a few limbs for beat up junk, cost me $30 which is a decent price for a common grey Game Gear. Last time I saw a Magic Knight Rayearth unit I think it sold for about $200. I was half asleep and almost missed it, I looked at it 5 times before it occurred to me what it was, it also WORKS! A freakin miracle! Out of the past 30 units this is only the 4th working one and is probably the best looking unit I have ever owned. YAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOoooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooo!!!!

Here�s something I ran into at my local re-opened super market..
For Sale 2K

I was just telling my dad that if I ever was to get another arcade machine that it would be a sit down racing game(with detachable chair)..but I�m not sure what game it would actually be..
I would like something that is internal game upgradable or changeable.
I�m not sure if I�d be able to get something of this size to my second floor apt..It�s side depth may be too wide for my doorways..

I�m not buying it but I can�t say that if I didn�t have something to offer I may have tried..

I think this machine has been sitting for a few years in the liquor stores back room when the whole super market location was closed down...the location had several machines in the lobby several years ago that I had taken pictures of back then,these machines took a beaten in this places lobby and seemed to always be broken..
It�s very dusty on the back side.

This machine is not set up plugged in and most likely is broken,maybe a bad burned in monitor too..

I personally don�t know if this machine is worth 2K,with it most likely being broken..

Got them both from a local retro game shop. They usually keep their prices agreeable. As opposed to the other retro game shop across the hallway. Which slaps about 25% on top of the average price for common stuff. and 50% on top of uncommon/rare stuff.

I'm just glad razorama.com is still around selling new parts for all their legacy electrics. I rebuilt some Pocket Rocket PR200's for a relative's friend last year and it was nice to show them an exact parts list with prices for everything they'd need and then my final work price on top of that. I'm waiting for the day they discontinue some of the old parts and blow them out so I can stock up.

We have a lot in common...

Right now I have a Pocket Rocket PR200 that was fully underwater during hurricane Irene,I switched out the control box from a chopper and the bike currently works great,my 6 year old rides it..the second Pocket Rocket PR200 that also was under water, I haven�t got going yet,the control box is dead....I may use parts out of a part bike razor scooter once I snag one as my other Son wants me tro get it going....I don�t find these Pocket Rocket PR200 anymore at the flea market,if I do they are trashed and over $50.00 in price..Both Pocket Rocket PR200 I have fully ran before my basement was flooded,I also lost two of three Razor choppers ,one is perfectly working bought after the storm but the other two were damaged being under water.
The main problem I have with these bikes,scooters is the batteries though showing some life won�t take a charge,the charger light stays green.,.I�m not sure if that�s a full battery issue or control battery issue..

I also want to get one of two HONDA Pocket Rocket type electric mini motorcycles going that are displayed on a shelf,they have no keys no chargers so I have to figure that stuff out.

I didn�t get the secondary Razor Scooter yet ..the vendor never showed up at the market(said he would be there FOR SURE),so a friend who knows him direct is going to get it for me Saturday..I�m buying it blindly but after how nice the green one is it should be nice.
I also was contacted by another vendor,he sent me pictures of the Junk,Rusty, selection of Razor scooters he has in a wet shed..I explained the price to fix versus the price to buy these scooters off him,or just buy new. and he declined my offer saying he�d fix them himself...I will pay between $10-$20 on parts scooters... .He thinks he�s sitting on $100 scooters..what he has is a serious pile of rusty,wet neglected junk..
Black Friday ad,some big store has razor scooters new for $69.99

I cleaned up the BRAVO scooter I picked up for $10.00 and it came out real nice ,it�s belt driven..,just needs a set of new batteries..
I need to buy a bulk of batteries for these bikes..

With the Cold Wearther and my Racing Season over I've been messing with electric motorcycles a lot.

Here a weird item..

I got this from a friend,he handed it to me..you want it,sure..
Since he bought it new online he�s been telling me that it�s Fake and does not work right...
One problem is that it won�t sync with his PS3 to use it wirelessly..It has to be plugged into the PS3 at all times to be used..also he says it has no blu tooth..
The battery takes a charge that�s part is ok..
It also has something small jiggling around in it..

So when I took a look at it it says on the back...CECHZC2H

Made in China..

I haven�t looked at my own PS3 controllers but as I told him maybe it�s an import type that doesn�t work wirelessly(different frequency) with US PS3 consoles..

I want to tell him what�s the deal with it..a nice looking Fake,just an import or just broken..

Here�s something I ran into at my local re-opened super market..
For Sale 2K

I was just telling my dad that if I ever was to get another arcade machine that it would be a sit down racing game(with detachable chair)..but I�m not sure what game it would actually be..
I would like something that is internal game upgradable or changeable.
I�m not sure if I�d be able to get something of this size to my second floor apt..It�s side depth may be too wide for my doorways..

I�m not buying it but I can�t say that if I didn�t have something to offer I may have tried..

I think this machine has been sitting for a few years in the liquor stores back room when the whole super market location was closed down...the location had several machines in the lobby several years ago that I had taken pictures of back then,these machines took a beaten in this places lobby and seemed to always be broken..
It�s very dusty on the back side.

This machine is not set up plugged in and most likely is broken,maybe a bad burned in monitor too..

I personally don�t know if this machine is worth 2K,with it most likely being broken..

So if you bought Kellie Pickler's new album via pre-order you were supposed to get an autographed sleeve to go with it. Mine showed up 4 days before street date (cool) but without my autograph :(. So I called customer service and they sent me my signed copy. So yay got that today as well. Now to pay someone an idiotic amount of money to frame it with a picture so I can start doing something about the barren walls.

if there is even a battery in it, because some of them didn't go that far even, then a 2.4Ghz usb stick is required to get it to work wirelessly and those weren't always included aswell

This place started out really overpriced, has definitely backed down into the "competitive with ebay but under the insane resellers" in the area. They had a few things that left me scratching my head (Bonk on NES cart only for 300 bucks? Is that what that thing actually sells for now?) But I'll definitely be going back.

i have not posted here in many mooons....but i have bascially gone jjgames.com, amazon, ebay, and even gamestop crazy over the last few months....

i've been trying to rebuild my snes collection...i now have 99 carts strong...but recently picked up some big ones including smrpg, super metroid, the mask, secret of mana, breath of fire, illusion of gaia, super chase hq, fatal fury special, samarai showdown, world heroes 2, among others.....

also i've been trying to rebuild a short but quality list of gamecube titles including viewtiful joe 1 and 2, resident evil, resident evil zero, luigui's mansion, metroid prime 1 and 2, among a few others....now have 15 gamecube titles in total...

also picked up some n64 titles such as rouge squadron and KI gold....

i'm also trying to build a NES library...have 38 titles so far but recently picked up some good ones mostly from jjgames and amazon including megaman 2, air wolf, pro wrestling, golf, 10 yard fight, 1942 and Ducktales...there are others i got recently but those are some of the highlights...

i posted here a while back that 2 summers ago i had to sell my entire snes, nes, genesis, 32x, sega cd, etc collection...i kept the modern stuff....but i had to pay the bills...

i am so thankful that i have been able to rebuild a goood portion of my collection due to some recent trades and a couple good craigslits deals....still dont have any genesis, 32x, or sega cd stuff anymore, but i never had a huge collection of games for those systems...but i plan to try to recollect for them as well.

also, my twin 4 year old sons have been playing the crap out of donkey kong 64 as well as hydro thunder on my 360...it just warms my heart to see they are enjoying something i am so passionate about.

anyway, in case i dont post again for a while, i wish everyone on here a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday coming up...God bless you guys!

... and all of this was $18. Yes, $18. $10 for the Mario Party games and $8 for the rest. I was actually SUPER NERVOUS that Mexican Customs would take these away from me because these are a LOT of games for one person to cross over and they're jerks like that. One time they wanted to confiscate three Sega CD games because they were old. (Hell the customs agent looked younger than those games.) Luckily the customs agent was distracted by someone who was arguing with him because they're jerks. Woohoo.

Um. Anyway. I already own all those PS1 games but these copies are -incredibly mint- so they'll be replacing my old ones. The booth had a bunch of other PS1 games - Millionaire 3rd Edition, Tekken 3 GH, Tomb Raider 2 GH, some racing games... but I was pushing it so I only grabbed these.

The Journey soundtrack is sealed and was $2. The other DVDs were $3.50 total. I thought I already had the Journey soundtrack from a digital bundle, but nope, I was mistaken.

If it's worth anything, they'll try to charge you import fees for it.

I've seen people who bring small bags with used clothes that cost them $5 USD total get charged $5 per item. Because FUCK THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT.

Amigo, you cross the bridge on foot ?, i haven't had any trouble passing used videogames lots on car ... well, obviously when the trunk is full or you have many bags on the seats they are really fucking tough that I prefer to declare everything, and its surprisingly cheap in my experiences ...

2 zelda bundles because I went to Target to match Wal-mart, but Wal-mart's price was from their weekly ad, which you apparently have to have a physical copy of. They'll match the .com price, but that was $220 just like Target. So I went to Wal-mart to buy it, but afterwards felt dirty for shopping there, so went back to Target and used the physical ad I grabbed to price match. Plus got the extra 5% off using the Target Card. Gonna return the wally one sometime.

While we were out we stopped at Unique for the first time in a long long while. Found the rest of the stuff there. FFVII is missing disc 3, or rather, has Madden in its place. They had three of those sealed Dragon's Lair II for 1.99 each, which was kinda strange. Everything else was 2.99 each, but it was 25% off VIP day. Oh, and Republic Commando is also still sealed.

none of my stores around where I live got very many of the Zelda bundles, you might be better off trying to re sell it.

I got the most at 5 units with out any more on the way, the rest of the stores got 3 to 4, gamestops got a case (5) aside from their pre orders and its been pretty popular. I had one left in stock before I left for the day last night, don't expect them to be there when I go to work today

Last Sunday Flea Market I didn�t attend,the weather was bad and the vendors packed up early...I hated missing it as I always score there but a friend picker called me as he hit it early ..He didn�t find anything.
He called me to read off there names of a pile of Intellivision games in the box.
All common games ,crushed boxes ..$5.00 Each Firm...
I had him pick up Pitfall for $5.00 for me,in the box as t was the only title I was interested in...

The guy I was supposed to get a Razor Scooter from didn�t bring it and wants me to go pick it up sometime at his storage bin,this will never happen.

I run into a vendors table,a unique amount of gaming items from new to old...Turbo Grafix Devis Crush,R Type,Battle Royale and several others all complete in �case�/Hu cards...they also had vintage star wars items.
The main vendor is away and two family members are taking care of everything that�s priced...they don�t know any Turbo Grafix prices excelt that everything is between $20-$30.00..The table is busy but most people are looking at the new system games except one guy who�s eyeing the same things I am..he�s talking prices to himself and making small talk with the vendors,what I look at he looks at...
Then two people move,knock down a pile of 360s games and walk away,I pick them up and I spot the POPEYE behind things...OHHH..I snag the lady vendor quick,how much $$25.00..I go to pay her and she hesitates,Oh no I can�t sell it,I have to call the guy,I think he wants $30.00..OK,I�ll pay 30 no prob...
She can�t sell it and the guys 10 minutes away..I stand there waiting,camped out while another picker stands there waiting too..Oh heck if I walk away and he gets this,I saw it first I�ll wait....he leaves after 5 minutes.
The lady gets frustrated .She starts calling the guy,he gets there 10 minutes later..She asks price.The first thing he says is,Oh the Popeye sells on eBay for $300.00..OMG.I�m going to blow my top with these people and ebay...Ok,but what�s It�s price..$45.00 Firm,I pass..It�s missing the battery cover and is untested..I offer $30.00,No deal..$35 no deal..
Bummed out after waiting in the cold for 10 minutes.
The last item like this I�ve spotted at a flea market the guy wanted $250.00,again ebay pricing..

.Ok,lets try the Turbo Grafix games..$20.00-$25-$30 and up....I ask,And up?..here we go again.oh they are so hard to find and so high on ebay he says....I get in a bit of an argument with the three of them as they all start ebay price pounding me,These are rare,that they can sell them on ebay for SO MUCH.....I explain What he has is not Boxed,just game in case,the insert covers are bit washed out,cases have cracks..I understand your going by ebay prices but your also selling by ebay top dollar prices...

I have no wonder why these games have been sitting on that table all day unsold...
I leave..

Buy a few more things,it�s been about an hour pass and before I leave I pass these vendors again,None of the Turbo Grafix games are sold...
Popeye still there.I have $39.00 left in my pocket,I offer 39 and DEAL..
So I paid 39 dollars for it..
I get home and it won�t turn on..oh the feeling in my gutt I got ..but I know these things,clean the battery contacts, and it works..
I used to have a full collection of these that I sold off..and I wish I had them again.
Though I�d love to keep this one I can�t afford to do so:
This ones going on ebay ASAP..as soon as I make a battery cover for it..

Check this out..this morning coming back from taking my son to school we spot a kids Easel on the curb....My 6 year old wants one and I�ve saw the same one he wants/we found for 59 at Toys R Us..UGH..that�s a lot of dough.

Then we see an old locked trunk...hmmmm..The trunk had wear but may have been worth something,to big for me to deal with ,my wife pops it open and all this stuff was inside..
Mint in Plastic magazines,TV Guides,Wrestling Magazines,catalogs,imported magazines,Playboy,Topps items,Trading card box flattened.
This person was obsessed with XENA.......,Sable,CHYNA...

We checked one magazines and it�s listed on ebay for $30.00 and up.

Oh and my wife grabbed all this stuff,I was in the van freezing my ass off watching my daughter..

Nice pick ups..

This morning..I found a huge CRT TV....on the curb,but just too heavy to pick up while walking .. and I have a few stored...
still I hate not picking tvs up..

But next to it was a black bag with something inside shaped like a VECTREX system...I could see black plastic from a hole in the bag but the people putting the stuff out were hanging out,cleaning leaves and I was to embarrassed to go poking in the bag...No darn way it�s a Vectrex but I dream of finding on in the trash..(I�ve seen many things thrown out and ya never know if someone may throw out a vectex thinking it�s a small crt tv..

A friend of mine has been selling off is gaming collection...his prized possessions..Simply because after he got his own apartment he can�t get used to waking up to go to work.. because his Mama used to wake him up everyday..
4 Alarm clocks and a Great job he�s just stupid..
I even gave him an alarm clock and have offered to call him every morning to wake him up..

I�m not happy that he�s selling off these things he�s treasured ..He�s going to regret it later,I have been doing my best to buy what I can at better prices as he�s just dumping stuff but I can�t handle buying what he has so he�s been doing trade ins at the Digital Press Store.
Otherwise things DP doesn�t take I take..

I tried to pick one up from Toys R Us yesterday before work but they had JUST sold out of it along with the Scribblenauts Unmasked I wanted. :puppydogeyes: I could have picked up the system at either Gamestop or Best Buy and gotten reward points for it but the Meijer promotion was get a $20 off coupon on my next visit. I am in that store ALL the time so points be damned. :p

Now I'm ready to crash something crazy and everyone in the house is waking up. :|

I'm gonna say these are my November pick ups rather than finds. They were all bought retail essentially, but I got good deals on them. Some of theme are from black friday, but I didn't go out early to get anything I just went when I got up like a normal day and got everything I wanted.

3x 3+1 month Xbox Live subscription cards $10 each. They had a specific 3 month card for the black friday deal, but they weren't scanning properly at my local store so me and a friend grabbed the only 6 of the 3+1 cards they had which was scanning at $24.99 at the time and convinced them to price match it to the black friday cards since they weren't scanning. So I got a year for $30 lol.
1 year PS+ card $29.99 at Walmart.
