According to the Wikipedia article for the NES Major League Baseball, which was released in the spring of 1988 by LJN and developed by Atlus, it is said that David Rolfe programmed it. But did he really do so, just as he did for a similar-titled game released on the (Mattel) Intellivision?

No, Rolfe was only involved with the unrelated Intellivision game.

I know Wiki is not very trustworthy. That is why I post questions like this here if they are doubtful at Wiki.

Yes, the Internet databases are very unreliable. I only received one credit for testing a game in '94, and MobyGames lists me for testing five different games.
