I just picked up a PS4 with Assassin's Creed and am looking to add some first person shooters. I'm going to buy two games but am not sure which two to choose from.

I'm currently leaning towards BF4 and Killzone and I should add that I am much more interested in the campaign of the games with the online multiplayer taking a very far second place on what I care about.

Which two would you go with?

I heard Battlefield 4 has a campaign save data glitch that needs to be patched in order for the saving to work.

I would have to recommend Killzone for you as there are only three to choose from right now and it's your best value concerning the campaign. Game is simply gorgeous and has a nice level variety with solid shooting mechanics. I will admit though that it is missing something that I just can't put my finger on to make it be truly AAA.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is short and seriously disjointed, it seems like they had all these different ideas and tried to mash them together to make some kind of cohesive experience but failed miserably. Though, if you liked any of the past ones, this has it's spectacular set piece moments but is over to soon if you don't plan on hitting the multiplayer (which I really like in this installment).

Battlefield...well, I can't get very far when I can't save my progress but the multiplayer is great and this game is gorgeous as well. 32 on 32 is complete mayhem and I love it !

I would say Killzone and Battlefield once they fix the solo glitch but Battlefield and CoD if you play online and want your moneys worth.

I just bought Killzone and Battlefield 4. I saw the save problems with BF4 and it seems the error only happens when you go online which isn't something I'm going to do for some time and they are saying to expect a downloadable fix this week.

Although I decided on these two games I know myself well enough to know in a couple weeks I'm sure I'll have COD Ghosts as well.

Killzone, BF4 and ghosts all have a decent campaign, but they all can be finished easily in a day or 2, so maybe renting them would be the smart choice. Personally I think BF4 is the most complete package, unfortunately it's been rushed to market and the game has too many bugs and glitches it's crazy, but when it does work smoothly Conquest 64 player mode is very, very fun. When the patches release and the game is more stable, it will be the game that keeps me playing my ps4... I made another thread about all the issues and the answer I got from EA, they truly are the worst company in america... The only reason I keep buying EA games is NHL (please god make a new nhl2k with the nba2k14 engine!) and sometimes battlefield.

It'll take me more than a day or two to complete because I don't have the time to sit and play for hours at a time. I work full time and have a six month old son at home.

I also don't rent games because I like to go back and play then later. I have a very large video game collection and like the idea of going back any time I want or if friends want to play the games when they come over.

I will say I was shocked that COD: Ghosts was selling for $50.00 and somehow Black Ops 2 is still going for $60.00. How has that game not come down in price yet?!
