Tinkering with a new "look" for the main site, one that corresponds with the color scheme of the latest book.

Comments? It's just a start!

I like it. Looks cleaner and easier to read.

i like it except the bar that says "Videogame collectors and Retrogamers Unite" and "New Stuff" is a little bit too pink.

Waaaaay too much pink, light red, and dark red. I like the general layout though.

I think I like the old look better I not big on black backgrounds.

I'd make the background red, it'd match the book a little better. Of course, that would mean you'd have to switch around all the other colors too...

I like pink but not red, not that it really applies. The layout is nice, and I like the DP banner.
I get a little queasy when I see red and black together since so many people in the mid 90's were putting red text on black making it very hard to read. After a page of that stuff I felt like I had been reading in the car.

I like it.
Its not real important but I been wondering if the lists could be done in html instead of pdf?

I like the look! I say go with it and keep it

I actually like it. Wouldn't change a thing.
I'm w/ Felix & Phosphor. The red text on black is actually much clearer to me than the current "parchment" background, the one thing I didn't like when I first joined...

Red, black, and gray. That's too bland IMHO. Replace the black-n-white icons with full-color icons.

I like it, I wouldn't mind something a little less "noisy" on the message boards frankly. Whatever happened to the "option" in your user settings to have different layouts?

Definite improvement. Still dislike the frames. That's just my web designer snobbery though. Content is king. Can you run PHP or ASP on your site? That's the best way to reuse menus and loose the frames. If you need any volunteers for that stuff I'd be happy to donate my time. Let me know.

Well, completely off topic, but I have to say it. Re: POG....

I agree: the new site looks good. Fast to load, the black background makes things easier to read. I say go with it.
Is this going to be what the message board will look like too?

That new layout looks pretty good. Looks better than the old one... too much blue.

OK - I may tweak it a bit.
The forums will EVENTUALLY adopt that same style - I really don't like having the forums appear to be a completely different site (even a few of the people who have responded here seem to be confused about that). However, the forums DO allow multiple templates so if you want to stick with the woodgrain you'll be able to. :)
Thanks for the feedback! And keep it coming.

I definitely like that layout and the color scheme. When I first went to the game list database, I thought "gee, the whole place should look like this." Now it does ; )
(And no, typically I hate pink and red, but this just reeks of hip, man!)

The new site looks good. It seems a little easier to read for some reason. I like the look of the forums too, though. I didn't know I could change the template.

Looks decent enough.... Could use a tad more nudity.
Just my 2 cents.

I can't handle change. Where can I go for stability now?
