I don't have a PSP yet, yet I enjoy collecting for the system. It's got a bunch of niche games and exclusives that make it really attractive. And the games are some what common at flea markets and used games shops.

Unfortunately even though the Vita is going on two years old I can't seem to find a PSP 2000 or 3000 for a decent price. It strangely expensive for a previous gen handheld.

decided to go with the 3000 model if I decide to get one. I don't really care about hacking the system or getting emulators on it plus it seems like it will run the best compared to the original model.

I have a 3000 model and its really nice. It kept me company on a long train ride recently. The screen is really nice.
You might not care about 'hacking' it or getting emulators now, but if you do in the future its quite easy.

I found a good pc-engine/turbo grafx emulator. It works pretty good but the sound is a little off sometimes. The 3000 was also easy to hack in order to play video files. I spent most of an 8 hour train ride watching bugs bunny & road runner cartoons on it.
