Please Help! Sega CD Model 1

I was playing my sega cd model 1 with my friend and when he left i noticed audio skips the bgm. The red access light is always on now i did see older post but i am not skilled enough to open the machine up please help :( I love my sega cd. I guess its either the capacitors or laser or maybe both. I did the audio cd test and it does skip.

Is the disc you are playing clean and scratch free?

yes. I tried with all my games to be safe.

audio chip fault try other genesis console if its not the fault than its a sega cd audio chip fault.

I sent my sega cd and genesis to a user on here for repairs. The system works perfectly for him. He recapped it but even before that said it ran smoothly. I believe he said everything looked fine he checked several things.
