WANTED: THE BEST SNES Golf Game Recommendation

My family knows I love classic gaming & I've a feeling Dad's gonna find a
NIB SNES2 under the tree in a couple of hours.

I want THE BEST golf game there is for it.
Suggestions?

The only one I've ever played thoroughly was Waialae Country Club, and because it was good I had no desire to really try out the others. It's the one I always go back to. Though Kirby's Dream Course looks interesting.

As of right now, it looks like I'm leaning towards "The Skin Game".

Its not SNES but Neo Turf Masters is my favorite retro golf game. Check it out if you haven't. Neo Geo, or the various collections of neo Geo games on ps2 and Wii.

Hmm looks like he wants a legitimate golf game, not the cute style of that BS title or Kirby.

I know there's an EA PGA Tour Golf 96 and also the Wicked 18 title as well I haven't seen mentioned, not sure how good or bad they are, but I do know the Wicked title is a 3D game with polygonal courses but I hear it can be hard but it is made by T&E Soft known for solid golf titles. The PGA game has 3 real life courses and is rendered in another style of 3D and is fast too, but also has a nice range of heights and stuff to deal with.

I'll chime in for The Skins Game. Solid pace. Hal's Hole in One is enjoyable as well. More serious golf? PGA Tour '96, although the 3DO version is my personal favorite.

Yeah I would go with PGA,I like to keep it simple and I find PGA does the trick for me,on other systems I would go with Leaderboard which is not a technical marvel but simple and hugely playable.
