Crazy Taxi for Android

I am toying around with the idea of buying Crazy Taxi for my android tablet. What I want to know is if the tilt control holds up. I really have no desire to play this game on a small screen using only touch screen controls, so if the tilt controls suck I will pass.

Never bothered with the tilt controls, the button controls work fine. Playing it on a Shield is the best, though.
