What does the digital press guide mean?

I just bought DDR Konamix and so I looked up the rarity like I always do and it says this "A very strange late release, that came out AFTER the last new release PS game."

I don't understand what it means by that Can someone explain? Thanks!

The full line reads "Also available in the "Greatest Hits" packaging. A very strange late release, that came out AFTER the last new release PS game. If you like DDR, you'll like this one. Its more of the same and with a good song list to boot."

It sounds like it's referring to the GH version coming out after the last new release. I am assuming that the Black Label release came out before the last new release.
