I recently got a Neo Geo CD, as of now I only have one game for it Fatal Fury 3. Fatal Fury 3 was cheap like only 6 bucks I am looking for good Neo Geo CD games that wont break the bank.

I think the Samurai Showdown games are pretty inexpensive.

Anything with really long loading times is inexpensive. :| I think the KoF games are also. It's actually the non-fighting games that will eat your cash.

Yeah I also had King of Fighters '94 and '95 and neither of those two were that expensive reselling. Only worth about $15 each a couple years ago. They appear on compilations, digital re-releases and have many newer entries in the series so that makes them lower in demand.

Last Blade and Aero Fighters 2 are also fairly inexpensive. At least the JP versions are. I haven't even looked at the US versions. They're not super cheap, but they're not bank breaking either. Might be worth the pick up if you like shoot em ups.

Heh I could never find a US version of anything, every time I looked. I always, always found Japanese copies of games.

I sometimes doubt it ever got a US release. :P But it's all good, since 99% of the NGCD games don't require reading anything.

Yeah it makes me wonder who has all the US copies. People on the Neo Geo forum? They must have all kept all their games and the games and systems must have sold out. That's the only explanation I can think of for never seeing a US copy turn up on ebay.

you can play backups to try the games before you buy them, but be sure to burn them on quality cd-r the neogeoCD is a little bit finicky with the brands ( no memorex).

how would you do that? would it be the same for PS and Dreamcast games?

Dreamcast needs a different program than the rest, I think it was Discjuggler. Everything else works fine with IMGBurn.
