I have been trying to repair a friends gameboy advance sp so that it is sell able. It needed serious cleaning down the to buttons. Upon reassembling i can't figure out the L and R triggers how they go back. This coil spring i can't get it back in and the wire sticks out and i can't find it's proper placement. If some one could tell me and have pictures that would be great.

I'm pulling my hair out over this.

I think I should point out that even if you get this into working condition again you probably will not be able to sell it for a price worthy of the amount of effort you're putting into it. Perhaps you should just consider selling it "for parts" and leave it at that.

Can't really help much beyond that, but I would have thought there'd be an appropriate video on Youtube.

The item functions, it just needed to be cleaned to look nice. As to looking on youtube, I have been doing so for several hours now. All the videos i can find are that I am unable to see them mess with these buttons if they do or they don't touch them. When i do get one where they show the buttons it's so blurry i cant see the spring positions and the videos don't beyond 480p.

There is a tab for the spring on the bottom cover(the cover that the battery goes in). Put them in that cover and carefully put it back together, making sure the power and volume sliders are in place.
