i have started using the website recordsetter.com and currently hold 3 world records on the site.
anyone else have a record on recordsetter or guinness?

I shattered the record for Shinobi III points on a single run(Twin Galaxies). The pressure of recording the run made for an even more awesome playthrough than usual. I really got in the zone and put in probably the perfect playthrough. I sent the tape in but they never posted the score. :grrr:

when did you send said "tape" in?
because if it was recently apparently they are having problems... like currently not existing problems

I was hoping the website was just down...but sadly, you're right. Twin Galaxies is no more. :(
In late 2013, after more than 30 years as the preeminent record-keeper of video game world records, Twin Galaxies officially became defunct, its website and record database no longer accessible.
In 2013 Twin Galaxies lost the much-valued Guinness high-score accreditation after they began charging money for accepting score submissions. This practice has since ceased, as the website is no longer reachable.
Wikipedia doesn't cite a source for the above, but I suppose the defunct website speaks for itself.
