Helicopters in Battlezone???

I've read a couple of places about helicopters in Battlezone, but only in one or two places and I've sure never seen them. I've only gotten as far as 90K on my best day and usually get between 40-60K. But I've seen a video of a guy getting over 100K and didn't see any helicopters. Do they ever really show up, or was I reading about a different game or something?

Also in the video the guy started out with 5 tanks but the versions I'm playing which are online only give you 3. Can anyone tell me how to get a version that gives you 5 tanks to start with?

There are no helicopters. The only helicopters in something Battlezone related are in the Bradley army trainer adaptation of the arcade game.

I'm not familiar with the DIP switch options for Battlezone, but that's where a change in the amount of starting lives would be made.

It seems that I was able to do a lot better back on the arcade games, but trying to do it with the arrow keys and the space bar just aren't the same. It's a lot slower, and it seems the space bar "misfires" a lot.
