Just tried the demo on my PS4 this morning, seems pretty promising...

I'd tell you how it plays but the developer didn't release a 32-bit version for PCs. It's 64-bit only, so I can't play it.

I wouldn't call Strider 2 on the PSX poor quality. I'll give you that Strider Returns was awful, though

Well, it's nice to see that the people designing it are also fans of the original game.

Of course, 'the proof is in the pudding'.
