Duke Nukem 3d was one of my favorites games from the 90s. I remember being amazed by the level of detail. The environment was interactive and of course Duke's one liners were great. So I picked up Duke Nukem 3D atomic from gog for a few bucks and the graphics really did not stand the test of time. Searching the internet I found out about Eduke32 and the High Resolution Pack. It really does breathe new life into this classic. You can even play the High Res version with the free shareware version of Duke Nukem. I made a quick video to show where to find the files and how to install them for anyone who may be interested in giving the original Duke Nukem another try with a fresh coat of paint.

one of my top games ever. I used to wake up early and play online using Kali for DOS... good times, that and Case's ladder....I got to 10th place at one point.

I've never cared for the High Rez pack all that much and a lot of it had to do with the low polygon models that they chose to use instead of high quality sprites

I was going to say, I personally think the XBOX Live version looks better than the high res pack. It just looks awkward.
