Several things I've noticed about carts over the years.
On the connector board part of the cartridge, I've noticed how some are white, some are brown, and the rest in between. I have many of all kinds, but I am assuming that white is when the carts are new, and they darken with use? Or is it caused by the cart playing for too long and getting hot? Either way, are there downsides to having ones that are browned. I have some that are this way but have spotless gold connections.
Also, some carts have connections that span across the whole board, while others of the same game have them differently, spanned every now and then. A few with very few at all. Any reasons for why they are like this (you would think they would be the same), and if these are considered 'varations'?
