is it possible to run rad racer on a famicom with a 72 pin to 60 pin converter and have the 3d option work or did they change the 3d option on the US release?
the reason I ask is because I never see Highway Star on my favorite ebay seller and most of the other charge way to much for shipping one little loose famicom cart so its cheaper to get a 72 to 60 pin converter

Rad Racer's 3D mode will work just fine on a Famicom - you just need some red and blue glasses.
Highway Star's 3D mode won't work on a NES though, as it was designed for the Famicom's 3D system.

I think he is asking if the USA version of Highway Star is compatible with the 3D System. I believe it is not. You can still run the game on the FC with a converter but the 3D effect is the same as on NES and requires the red/blue glasses.

yea that was what I was wondering.....poop.
I only have 3d hot rally for FDS to use my glasses with and I wanted to try some other games, I really like rad racer so I was hoping that would have worked

For the Famicom 3D I highly recommend the aforementioned Highway Star, J.J. Tobidase Daisakusen (3D Worldrunner 2), and especially Cosmic Epsilon. Attack Animal Gakuen sucks, and Falsion is hardly worth the effort.

Ok well now I own 2 copies of highway star both complete...
Ugh...
I'll probably sell one when I get them and check them out. I thought I was losing one listing so I bid on another and wound up with them both. Thankfully same seller so they can combine ship.
