pokemon transfer question (from gen 1 to current)

I imagine theres got to be a way to transfer pokemon from red, blue and yellow, all the way up to x and y using trade and transfer options.
does any one know how though?
other than having the games to transfer up through the ranks it'll involve coliseum on n64 with a game boy reader thing for the controller, pokemon coliseum, box, or XD on gamecube with a game boy advance player and/or link cable to game boy advance.

I already have all this stuff (except for pokemon box)
I have pokemon blue and ruby, leaf green and I want to get x. I know some one who has heart gold, diamond, and black. so gold and/or silver for Gameboy color is the only one that might be needed

It is impossible to do with the 8-bit versions. You have to use Fire Red, Leaf Grean, Heart Gold and Soul Silver instead. It's because the GBA versions are completely barricaded from interacting with the 8-bit Game Boy versions. Crystal Version is basically the peak version to move everything to of all your hard work in the 8-bit games.

There is also no way to move Pokémon from the Nintendo 64 games into the Gamecube ones.
