Anyone have a collection of these? Came across the article on Kotaku and Famicom World about them.

I wonder which are released with both pulse-line and picture labels?
I know Devil World was (I have the pulse label).

I have a Popeye cart, with a sticker "JASRAC T-860215" on it, so I assume it was printed in 1986 but still had the pulse line (I'm not certain what it is, but JASRAC is some sort of cartoon licensing organization in Japan?)
... but it has a 830404 caution label, so maybe it is an earlier print that was relabled?

They're actually a copyright collection organization just like ASCAP over here in the US.

I've been actively collecting these, and they all come in both varients, devil world is probably the hardest to find as a text label by far.

I thought I really overpaid when I bought my pulse Devil World for like $20+shipping loose from a UK seller, I think, like a decade ago.
I've seen plenty of listings at like $8 since then. Or does the pulse version have more value than the picture version?

I have a CIB Pinball. From what I've seen that one is pulse only. (it looks like there is a yellow box, which I have, and a silver box)

Hudson Soft also used a similar design for their very early games. I got Nuts & Milk. I got Lode Runner, but mine is a picture label. I actually bought the Lode Runner because that seems to be an uncommon reprint (I believe the cart is dated 1991, but it seems to be the same 1984 version game).

Picture labels are more desirable to casual collectors who don't know the difference (same reason mario 1-3 sell for 30$ sometimes)
Raid on bungling bay is another that has a pulse style label too, I remember buying it from a blurry image/ poorly labeled famicom auciton thinking it was something else years ago ;-)

Obviously some of these are easier to find than others. I'm glad I picked up Popeye's English Game when I could. But Donkey Kong is strangely hard to find.

The pulse line carts fun to have on display too?
