mednafenX(nes) Main, v14(madam bed) NES Emulator

I recently came io an original Xbox with a ton of emulators on it. For the first couple of weeks I had know issues at all. Now with the NEs emulator when I select a game to play it says loading , but instead of loading up it goes back to the selection screen. Sometimes a game will load up fine a couple of times but then all of a sudden if I try to load it it will just go back to the game selection screen. I am a little computer literate but not much. Is there any steps I can take to troubleshoot the matter? All the other emulators located on the Xbox appear to be fine. Any ideals?
