Are there any desirable traits that make any of the PS2 versions worthwhile over the Xbox/GCN counterparts?

For various reasons when they were new, I originally went with the GCN version for the original and then the Xbox for the following pair. Then in recent years, I completed the collection on both systems as deals popped up. But I never bought any version for the PS2.

Has anyone given this series a detailed comparison? There's a fair bit of variability just across the GCN and Xbox versions that have made it worthwhile having both, so I assume there's a decent chance that a few games across the three were best off in PS2 form.

So is there any reason to seek out any of the PS2 versions such as a superior presentation for a particular game, support for the Nyko track-ball with MAT1's track-ball games (Never saw anyone claim it was supported, but then again, I never saw anyone say that they had actually tried), Logitech wheel support for Race/Hard Drivin', etc?

I only own one on PSP, and its a little disappointing. Galaga is just not meant to be played at that small a scale, imo.

Wrong publisher. :)

You're mixing up Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play, which is the PSP's Midway arcade collection, with Namco Museum Battle Collection for the PSP which has Galaga.

The only thing I know for sure is that Smash TV does not run at full speed on the PS2.
