This is an audio commentary tip and strategy video on my 1cc Final Fight video from last year. It is known as a pretty tough game in the arcades but with a few well applied strategies it's not quite as hard as it looks. Btw, no one in the opening picture at the start is me, honest.

Great game and great video! Sega CD version is pretty good. I settle for SNES as I don't have an arcade or a Sega CD hooked up. Haggar is the man!

Yes, Final Fight 2 and 3 were SNES releases and were available on SNES.

Really cool vid. I watched/listened to the whole thing. You just taught this old dog some new tricks. One of my favorite games ever.

Final Fight, along with Rygar, are the 2 games that will take years to master. Unfortunately developers/publishers look at quick bucks theses days rather than long term profits.

I have spent thousands of quarters on this game when it first came out and managed to stay alive (1 life) until middle part of Stage 6 (you need to memorize enemy movements and turn throwing into an art [use knee to hold opponents and then throw]). Cody is the only character to be used as he hangs on to the knife and can keep stabbing.

I can spend hours talking about this game along with Rygar, the 2 that gave me so much childhood memory.

If you use Cody, memorize enemy moves, it'd be pretty easy to reach Stage 6 with 1 life.

The last part of Stage 6 (right before Belcher) requires pure luck and fast movements with no margin of error. Trying to throw everyone toward one side as quick as possible with 2 jabs followed by opposite throws, if you slow down just a bit it will give the fat guys and Andore more time to attack.

So far I have managed to go through last section without losing a life a few times out of about 50 tries (thanks to mame you can keep trying with saved state).
