Jack Tretton Leaves SONY

The man who was there from the beginning of the PlayStation, Jack Tretton, has walked away from Sony.

Are you sad about this? Happy? Do you say, "Good riddance!"? What did Jack do for Sony, and how was the company changed by his work? Was it for the better or for the worse?

I have no strong feelings either way. Jack Tretton wasn't someone who stood out in my mind positively nor negatively.

Ken Kutaragi on the other hand, was just full of insane quotes that I was a little sad to see him retire. Two of my favorite all-time quotes from him were:

"The Playstation 3 will retail for $599. It’s probably too cheap…"

and

"The PS3 is not a video game console. it's a supercomputer".
