Streets of Rage + Masters of the a Universe =

....a fan game using the Beats of Rage engine but the artwork from Filmation's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon:

I tried it during lunch and it's pretty slick. You can have up to four players duke it out with Skeletor's henchmen (I think Man At Arms, Teela, Orko are playable from what I read). I was giggling like a kid playing this as it was a dream to play a game with these characters in this style of play.

Now how about a good "Captain Power" game?

For some reason I'm getting a chuckle out of the fact that Lion-O is a playable character.

Is there a way to contact the author? I want to suggest he make that gorilla from the Filmation Ghostbusters cartoon playable.

It's a nice concept, the graphics really are spot on. But why is Lion-O in there? Thundercats were not Filmation.

For the same reason that SNK and Capcom fighters end up in crossover BOR games: "Who cares, it looks awesome".
