Greetings retro gamers,
I've been programming 6502 assembly for a little while, but finally developed my first game for Android and thought I would share it with you all. It's called Lamb Chops and puts you in control of a shotgun-wielding farmer who must protect his flock from various creatures like wolves, yetis, and aliens. It's similar in appearance to Robotron.
The game has authentic 70s/80s graphics reminiscent of the Atari and Apple II. The game itself is a port of an Apple II game of the same name I released last year. Both the Apple II version and Android version are free. Just be warned, the game is deceptively difficult because 1) Friendly fire is present so you can kill your own sheep and 2) Your bullets move in the same direction you move, greatly increasing the challenge (and frustration) :).
Touch screen controls definitely aren't as great as a real joystick so I do intend to add Bluetooth joystick controls at some point.
Feedback is appreciated, too, either for this game or future games I may develop.
