Don't know where the other thread went. I'll say internet demons.

Since it's only right to post finds, I'll mention that I found a bunch of PSOne strat guides for Dangerboy he didn't have and a kookie PSOne packaging errored game.

Interesting to see a sealed game when it's missing it's rear insert, but hey, can't go wrong when it's only 4 bucks.

So all in all grabbed

Medievil strat guide
Rival Schools strat guide
Toys R Us Ultimate Codes book

Barbie Adventure (sealed) PSOne

not sure about where you are, but at various times here they've kept discs and small carts in a binder at the register. Not saying it is worth $10, though. First I've seen of that sort of DS bootleg. Pretty interesting. I'm probably just living a sheltered life, ;)

I asked just to check; no dice. :)

Wow,that would be some multicart....I wonder how great the games would work on it...

I've seen similar bootlegs like that in the past, but that was years ago. They were produced before the flash carts became popular or widely available, so they weren't produced long. I've never played one, just saw them at a flea market. Still pretty cool.

Dune: The Battle of Arrakis
Wolfchild
The Humans
Last Battle
Greendog

Humans, Last Battle and Greendog are nothing special and probably worth nothing more than the $4 each I paid but finding Dune for essentially $4 is a damn good deal seeing as it usually goes for $20+ on its own (there's a little bit of marker on the label but it's otherwise completely intact). Wolfchild seems a little rarer too but kind of iffy on a solid price as a loose cart has hit everywhere from $5 to $15 in the past few months..

Speaking of bootlegs, I sure wish these had been real and not burned CD-Rs with printed-out inlays, for they were $.99 each at a Goodwill bookstore.

Another nice find on Genesis games!

http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA3N1gxNTUx/z/6GQAAOxyaTxTUziR/$_57.JPG

$15:

Dragon's Fury
Toki: Going Ape Spit
Shadow Dancer

I've already got Shadow Dancer so it'll be a resell, I do enjoy Toki a bit, but HOLY FUCK YES Dragon's Fury. EASILY the best pinball game I've played on a console and one I'm glad to add it to my collection.

I decided to hit up Toys R Us last night for some last minute gifts for the kids for Easter. They've been running a clearance event and I wandered into the video game department to see if there was anything worthwhile. I might have spent a little more than I had expected to but at least I didn't walk out empty handed. :)

The first thing I snagged was a copy of Disney Magical World on 3DS. The store price was $29.99 but on the website they had it listed for $19.99. The guy did me a solid and price matched the game's price to what it was listed for on online.

The other games I found were listed as part of their clearance sale, I got...

Zone of the Enders HD Collection (PS3) $12
Naruto Powerful Shippuden (3DS) $12
30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade (WiiU) $8

They also were running a sale on their $19.99 or less SuperBuy games where if you bought one, you could get one for $1. I took advantage of that to get some DS games for the kids including 2 Monster High games and a Barbie game. The fourth game I got for myself which was Sonic Colors on DS. :)

Yeah, the one near me had a lot of Wii U stuff at 60% off. I grabbed some Hori Protectors at about $3.50 each

Got a copy of Super Adventure Island for $9. Not a crazy deal, but outside of yardsales, fleas and thrifts, crazy deals on SNES don't really exist that often anymore.

On the SEGA side of things, just BARELY missed a sealed copy of 3 Ninjas Strike Back @ $30 Buy it Now by a minute. I'd probably resell it to help out with life costs, so at least here's hoping it went to someone who wants to collect it or has a good reason to resell.

Guess this is my new "the one that got away" story.

I scooped up Scribblenauts Unmasked on WiiU from Best Buy yesterday. They have both the 3DS and WiiU versions marked down ($10 and $20 respectively). I had a $5 off Rewards Zone Coupon burning a hole in my pocket and luckily the location by my work had copies in store.

Cart-Only Toejam and Earl (Genesis) - $8

The front's pretty clean, has a bit of marker but nothing awful. the back is absolutely covered in video store stickers, but it's nothing a bit of goo gone and persistence won't fix.

(I thought the front had remnants of one of those crappy video store stickers that leave a film of crud when removed, but then I realized the yo-yo was just colored that way :P)

Well today I scored BIG. Bought a Philips CDI 220 with remote for $60 with some miscellaneous video game stuff.
The king of the lot was however a laptop that cost me $40 at a thrift store, a AVA Direct badged Clevo x7200 Gaming Laptop. No Ac Adapter but this thing still sells for well over $1000 used. This was my best day in over 5 years.

I've only found a few small things in the past month or two, but a bad memory and forum outages kept me from posting them until now.

Atari lunchbox, $6 (in really, really bad shape).
Battleship and Escape From Cyber City for the CD-i, $2.50 each.
Subterrania, Fathom and Bump & Jump for the Atari 2600, $1.99 to $2.99 each.
M.A.D. and Infiltrate, boxed, for the 2600, $5 each.

Ha ha. I totally read this wrong and was trying to figure out what your bad memory could have been. Like you had an intense game of Warlords with your 3 best friends as a kid... it got too intense. Alliances were formed, the rift grew. In high school you were a Burnout while your former friends were Jocks. Now that one friend is a rich broker, married to the girl next door that you'd had a crush on since you were 8 and you live in your mom's basement.

Damn Warlords.

Atomic Purple Game Boy Color - 1
Everything Else - 20

The GBC was actually from a lone sale near my place that I walked to on 4-19-14. Asked about video games and this was brought out to which my offer of a buck was taken. Everything else was at one sale, the Xbox stuff was 15 and the Game Gear stuff was 5 and the PC games were a buck each to which I offered 20. The Madden game is missing the disk and Final Fantasy VII I'm pretty sure is missing one disk, it has 3 disks in it with an open spot but I couldn't remember if it was 4 disk or 3 like the PS1 version. IIRC the rest of the Xbox & PC games were complete.

Heavy Nova (Complete), Rock 'N Roll Racing (No Manual) & Castlevania - 13
Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong 64 & Space Station Silicon Valley - 15
SMS & 2600 Stuff - 5
Everything Else - 25

The 2 Genesis games were 2 each and Castlevania was 10 took 13. The next 3 games were 6 each but took 15 for the 3. These games came from your somewhat typical reseller types. No manual with Hang-On & Astro Warrior, Star Raider is missing the game itself & E.T. is complete (interesting weekend to find this). For everything else I asked about the NES stuff and it was 20 but the guy said I could have all of the game stuff which was in a plastic bin for 30 to which I countered with 25 which was taken. All of the NES games on the left have manuals. Pinball Quest hidden in the top left and if the NES games are hard to make out Snoopy's Silly Sport Spectacular! is the only other one that isn't really common or crap with Tyson & SMB3 being the best of the rest. Unfortunately the blue Game Gear doesn't have the battery covers has this is my first time finding a blue system.

PC games $1.99 each. POTC for GBA sealed $4.99

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCI0807_zpsd75e766f.jpg (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/vintagegamecrazy/media/DSCI0807_zpsd75e766f.jpg.html)

$1 each from a scratch and dent bin at a local resale store by my house. Bought for resale once they've been resurfaced.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCI0805_zpsbfb2feda.jpg (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/vintagegamecrazy/media/DSCI0805_zpsbfb2feda.jpg.html)

$1.99 each Mac games, the Holiday Lemmings was in the original Lemmings box but the original's CD rom was missing. The Loom is in excellent shape and worth quite a hefty amount for sure!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCI0811_zps5ab2032b.jpg (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/vintagegamecrazy/media/DSCI0811_zps5ab2032b.jpg.html)

$1 each from a local garage sale, some will need to be resurfaced though. One was missing unfortunately.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/vintagegamecrazy/DSCI0809_zps66184b65.jpg (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/vintagegamecrazy/media/DSCI0809_zps66184b65.jpg.html)

Air Combat is worth a decent amount and the Predator book was .89 and I couldn't resist since it sounds interesting.

Not pictured is a XBOX console with about 10 games for $10 from another garage sale.

I also found strategy guides for Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64 and Pokemon Snap from Goodwill for .89 each a few days later.

Decent month overall though nothing like my finds earlier this year!
