Hahahaha sick 'em!
Please do keep this thread up to date on the entire process as I'd love nothing more to see this play out as painfully as possible. People like that need to be made an example of in the same way other scumbags will sue over petty stuff, get people fired over PC bullshit, and the rest. Nothing is better when you can put the clamp on turds like that, and the icing is always tacking on court costs, lawyer fees, and lost work/compensation beyond the judgement for time wasting you and the courts.

No kidding. I came in here asking that this thread now die since he went away, but I changed my mind pretty quickly!

I find myself wishing the thread at Sega-16 wasn't locked so it could be updated.

So it looks like he just opened an A-Z claim on Amazon.
If Amazon grants the claim i am going to be really pissed and might just take him to court. It wont cost me much but a filing fee and a day off work. I found him on facebook and have his address. He lives up north so i don't see him making the trip to court in GA. Plus he would have to have some kind of proof that the item was illegal.
Then after i get a default judgement because he doesn't show up i can then put a lien on any property he owns (hopefully he owns a house) this way he can't sell unless I get whatever I get a judgement for (which will be the cost of the game and whatever amount it costs me to actually do the work, time off work etc).
Its nice being married to a Paralegal who knows all this shit and works for a boss that loves to help :)
I'd love to see this Ninsega get whats coming to him. Why would he even waste his time going this far? What a jackass.

It sounds like Amazon.com was "partly" on my side.
They said:"The buyer's claim was granted. We found no reason to believe that you are responsible for this claim, so Amazon.com reimbursed the buyer. Please consider this transaction closed."
Basically they refunded the buyer but didn't take the money from us. I think i'm just going to let this be for now.

He'll keep coming at you - and other people - if he isn't stopped now.
Sue his ass.

Just here to Support Good Deal Games, My blood is burning just by reading all the BS on this thread and Sega-16.
Has this guy been banned yet?
I love how he says he was able to speak with those companies over the phone. When it is next to impossible to do that, you need to send a letters and hope someone cares to open them.

It's easy to speak with a representative of a company if the first thing you say is "I'm here to report a website selling counterfeit games." You should try it sometime.

It is just like people that call 911 every day. The operator must take their call but won't really pay much attention.
They take your claim/request but very likely won't be doing anything. Customer Reps are not part of the legal department; and legal departments will not care for something like this.
So I call BS on your claims.

Generally there is policy in play that states when a customer is says anything that sounds like it would require a lawyer, the rep either transfers the call to a legal representative (Comcast, eBay, PayPal and Best Buy all do this) or terminates the call and forwards the account to legal (most costumer service centers do this, as well as many concierge services, Costco is particularly notable for this). So it's not that far fetched.

What did you people expect to happen by bumping a thread that has been idle a month? If he was going to come back anytime soon, it was going to be by receiving that email notification that there was a new post in this thread.
Clearly, he isn't going to be banned. So why are you not taking the next logical step of not feeding him? I guarantee if he was posting this nonsense and it was ignored, that he'd quickly get bored.
You're doing exactly what he wants.

Doubt it. Also, this jackass came back in response to the thread about Michael T selling his collection. It had nothing to do with people bumping this thread.

Considering that he posted in response to the post that bumped this thread, it's not exactly a leap to suggest there's some correlation there.
And practicing the fine art of nitpicking aside, the primary point stands. You folks are encouraging him, not discouraging him. Ignore him and he'll go away. I guarantee it.

Does it matter?
For the context in which I asked, yes.
It also shows that something has been wrong with a portion of the site for a while, that seems like something that would matter to users.

It doesn't matter how the thread was revived but that it was and spurred on a response from someone you all wish would shut up on the matter. There's no significance on how the offender became aware of the response.
How is that productive or accomplishing anything?
Feed the troll and he'll keep hanging around. That's all I have to say.
