I just got this on Wednesday from an Atari Age member, for $650 shipped. It's in really good condition, and was just a bit dusty. No box or anything, but it had two of the four games, along with battery cover and removable joystick "condom" (never even knew they came with them) intact. Don't mind the pic, it looks much better in person.

I don't think I've ever heard of this before.

I've seen em before, only at the time I figured it was some cheepo Chinese toy thing and I didn't buy it, pretty sure it got destroyed...

That's the pretty decent price... hopefully it all works perfectly for many happy minutes of gaming ;)

(yeah, look after it well, they're not the most sturdy of contraptions sadly)

Congratulations!!!

I used to search high and low on ebay about 10 years ago and I
never saw one for less than $1000.

I wouldn't even know where to find one now.

Is that an IC socket above the controls?

That's where the games plug in.

Anyway, I was just reading up on this system recently, and it actually sounds like it was in a weird sort of way a precursor to the Virtual Boy, what with the way both systems used that "mirror reflecting a single row of red LED's to make up the picture" technology.

Never heard of it before, but after a bit of research, seems pretty interesting! Cool find!

I've only ever seen one. Gray's on a good deal.

Well, it's technically the cartridge slot, but it is just an old standard Molex connector. The cartridges are just EPROMs (even in production, they always used 2532 EPROMs) snapped into a plastic housing... :)

Nice score, very good price for one in that condition with two carts...

I can't believe I forgot to mention that I did a video review on it:
