Do casual gamers annoy you one way or another?

They annoy me.Like how they ask dumb questions like "what's your fave game?"-OMG,there are thousands of games,30-40 games experience that they have(DO they?)is not even all that much.How am i supposed to choose ONE game,god? or how they learn about a game they are supposed to like mooonths,or,at times,years after its release.
Or how they get offended when you correct them,or try to explain/teach something to them.Or,worse,when they say things like "games are stupid",when they just know jack**** about games in general.

I'm annoyed by their refusal to insert spaces after punctuation marks. And by their insistence on feeling superior to others based on arbitrary criteria such as the number of games they've been exposed to, or when they discovered a particular title. Yeah I'd say that shits the worst.

When someone says games are stupid, it's like someone saying they hate music or movies. It comes off as ignorant but I shrug it off. It doesn't hurt me, more games for me. If someone says something incorrect about a game, I will usually correct them without being smug about it.

The thing that annoys me the most is store clerks telling customers bullshit as facts. Happened to me just 2 weeks ago, a customer asked about the wii u and his answer was "dont buy it, Nintendo has already dropped it they just announced a new Nintendo Fusion, which will be more powerful than ps4..." I told him that was the most bullshit I have ever heard, and he told me "look it up on IGN dude, it's CONFIRMED." Yeaaah riiight. Just because you work in a video game store you know everything, even stuff that you made up as facts are now real. 19 year old hipster trying to school me, and doesnt even know what's a sega saturn...

In all honesty, "hardcore" gamers annoy me far more than "casuals".

I play video games to relax and have fun. When someone is griefing me because I'm not very good at a game, or because of the certain games that I like or don't like, I'm sorry but screw off. Lol.

I had the reverse of this situation. This was during the time the Wii was at the zenith of its popularity and we had people coming in asking about them. This lady was asking me about the benefits of the system and I told her about the backward compatibility as well as the Virtual Console. I told her that she could download games from older Nintendo systems as well as other systems that used to be competitors like the Genesis and Turbografx-16. She started to wonder aloud how Nintendo was able to do that on their system when this huge burly mouth breather interjects himself into our conversation and blurts out "That's because Nintendo bought Turbografx and Sega so they can put them on their systems. They own them now!" The lady was a bit stunned that he jumped right in like that and she turned to look at me. All I could do was shake my head and motion "No". :roll:
