The seller of those MVS carts is sometimes known to sell boots. I think they do so without even knowing it, but people over at ng.com have reported getting boots from them. Just a heads up.

Saturday @ Goodwill:
Genny 1 with a side-mounted CD. Oddly, Goodwill bundled Master System controllers with this instead of Geny controllers. All for 20 bones.
Saturday @ Replay Games:
SMS Miracle Warriors: Seal of the Dark Lord. Complete - $6.
Not too bad. I sold my one-and-only Sega CD a couple of years ago so it's nice to have one again. And I needed the SMS controllers. Miracle Warriors will be my first experience with an SMS RPG. Looks okay.
Meh? Maybe. One-half meh.

Actually it just got better......
I found a dollar in the parking lot at goodwill during lunch, I went inside to look around and found a pair of Rokenbok controllers for $1
I knew my previous supervisor had been looking for a set so I sent him an email and told him he could have them. He emailed back and said he would pay me $20 for them.....
any minute now, I'm expecting Kramer to tap me on the shoulder and say...
"you know who you are.... you're Even Stevens!"

not bad, but could be better... decided to check it out the next day (reluctant), I ran into a guy with a box of tons of Atari/Intellivision/Odyssey stuff.. He said 30 dollars and I offered him 25 dollars for the box, he said there's over 30 carts.

just had a two week holiday in France ... had a great time, but didn't find much in the way of games. Kept eyes wide open, but all I got was Metal Harness for SNES (boxed) for 5 Euros. Not too bad, but not a great haul. Saw ads for what looked like a great games shop in Dijon, but couldn't find the damn thing. It's in Place Emile Zola, apparently. Damned if I could find Place Emile Zola. Hmph!

I didn't have any finds past Backyard Football for the Gamecube for $10 at Target...
But I made someone's day on Sunday.
At one of my usual haunts, a couple of the guys were noticing that I was going through their Sega CD games, and they mentioned how they could never find The Adventures Of Willy Beamish, and it was one of their favorites when they had it growing up.
When I was in Indiana for Gencon, I had found a complete copy for $3.
So I went in, and showed the guy what I had for him...I've never seen an employee at a video game store start shaking over a Sega CD game...but that's exactly what he did when he reached for his wallet and said "Name your price"
I looked back as he was reaching for a $20...and said "How about $5?" after he picked his wallet off the floor, he pulled out a fiver, we made the swap, and we both went on our way happily.
I know I could have made a nice chunk of change off the guy...but I was more appy to get the game in the hands of someone who would appreciate it...

Mad props to you, Scooter, for doing something to encourage the spread of the hobby and thinking beyond filling your own pocketbook. You set a good example here!
