Q*Bert 3 for the SNES is pretty darn good... IF you turn off the overly busy backgrands and IF you have a proper joystick for diagonal control... not a control pad turned some weird way.

Yeah I read some reviews of Q-Bert for the NES which pretty much turned me off from it, even with the rarity value. Q-Bert 3 I would like to play sometime though.

Anyone ever play the older Q-berts for CV and Atari and have any issues controlling the foul-mouthed penis?

Oh, the CV version was pleasant enough, except that Q*Bert's eyes were hollow and Slick was barely recognizable. (I think Sam was missing entirely.) Still, it was a nice touch that if you made Q*Bert jump off the pyramid, you could see him fall off behind it and go off the screen.

Guess you could check the Video Game Museum (www.vgmuseum.com) for screen shots... the Playstation version is supposed to be the same as its Dreamcast counterpart, so that should be of some help.
