Good Neo Geo sites to recommend? [Archive]

I'm trying to negotiate a trade for a Neo Geo AES system and maybe a few carts. The thing is though I don't know anything about the system. Can anyone recommend some good Neo Geo sites with info on everything (systems, reviews, imports, ect)?

Neo-geo.com is the best source, hands down. You can also try the gamefaqs message board and FAQs. Another newer site is SNK-Capcom.com

Since Neo-Geo decks and games usually run fairly expensive, be EXTREMELY careful in making a deal. Get good photos, request references, etc.

Go to the forums there and look around. There are always newbies asking questions about the Neo. Look around in General Discussion, you should be able to find related threads on what you are interested in. Or just join and post a question of your own :) There are many sections on the site that will interest you, such as Reviews, FAQ's, Price Guides, and the NeoStore.

There are able people here at DP to help you as well. Hey, if you get an AES you will be in 2d heaven. I've been playing mine a hell of alot lately, as I'm really psyched about Snk vs. Capcom:Chaos. Got my hand on the trigger just waiting to order it!

Thanks for the help guys. This was just the kind of site I was looking for.

I really want a Geo now after seeing all those cool screen shots! And I can't believe that they are still making new games years after production of the console has stopped.

Oh, and I would recommend getting a supergun and going the MVS route, especially if you're a gamer and not a collector. So many MVS games are so much cheaper than the homecart counterparts. In fact, I was gonna make a post here soon comparing some prices of each format since I've gotten out of the homecart scene and gone totally MVS.
