How can I get a European N64 Console to Work on a US TV

Today I picked up a PAL N64 System in Trade..

The system came with controller, power supply and AV..

I've been reading article ,topic online and my heads spinning . I'm just looking for a simple-defined answer so I come here..

...............
I plugged it into a CRT TV NTSC ..and all I get is a blink on screen..Should I get anything?

The power supply says input AC 120V
The power light comes on stays on...
but I get nothing on screen..

I have some misc items I tried to use on it with no luck,Japanese game..

I don't NEED the system desperately to play it...Please don't tell me to go buy a US system....I want to get it to where it is usuable in the US and put it in my collection..right now I don't even know if it a working system..
I will buy a Euro game..

What do I need to do or buy to get it to work?
Thank you..

If you're not aware you can't use NTSC-U or NTSC-J carts on a PAL N64. You'd have to swap out the PIF on the N64 to be able to do so and I'm not aware of what would happen with the picture.

But once you get games to boot you'll basically need a TV capable of accepting PAL from composite or RGB mod the n64 and use either a PVM or a transcoder for component.

I just wanted to thank you for your response/help..

It seems to much to go through to get it to be operational for me so I'm just gonna sell it and try to break even on the trade...thanks again.

Sell only the console unit. You already own both a USA power supply, and converter for Japanese games.
