People are really down on the vita but I think it has alot niche titles that make it worth playing. So I thought a mini console that plays psone , psp games psn titles and vita games is a pretty good idea. Id like to play persona 4 golden , Soul sacrafice and Virtues last reward on a television :3. I guess having a psn account after all these years really has its benefits , you accumulate all those titles into one nice place , now if they could only add ps2 to the system I can get that all in one convenience and more shelf space :3.

I most likely will to pair with my Six Axis controller rather than going for the bundled version, but how soon depends on compatibility.

If the small handful of Vita games I'm interested in and my PSP downloads on my Go (that I currently use to play games on a tv with an external PSP scaler and my Six Axis gamepad) are mostly compatible and I can find a good price on a 32 gig or preferably a 64 gig card, it will likely be the next system I buy.

If not, I'll probably play the waiting game and get one down the road.

Digital only. I can't play my disc psone games or my disc psp games. Can't get disc based vita games for cheap to play on it so yeah....

There are no disc based Vita games; the system uses cards. PSP on PSN and PSOne on PSN are digital but any physical Vita game can plug right into the PSTV. :)

I plan on picking one of these up at launch for sure. I will probably go with the bundle to get me an additional controller.

Got mine preordered at Amazon.

I really hope it has Prime Instant Video capabilities...

I believe I will--I've been excited to see it release since they announced the Japanese version. With PS+, you get tons of great Vita games at a great value. Besides, it's nice to have a nice, compact Netflix/HBOGo/Amazon Prime machine, though my PS3 and most blu ray players do that now.

Most games I will wait for a sale price, tough. Paying $10 for a game I already have the disc version of, ew. It also kinda stinks I can't play my UMD PSP library but that was expected

Does the Vita handheld have it? If the handheld does, I'm sure that this will. The streaming angle is what they're primarily pushing this product for so it would make no sense to keep such an app out.

My mistake. You are correct about vita games. Still, my UMD library and my psone library won't play the discs. Unless there's a feature that it can read ISOs that I rip myself, I wouldn't be interested.

At last, Richter Belmount returns! I thought we'd never see him again after that business in Pekanbaru.

Anyway, the PS Vita TV can't run Gravity Rush properly, so it'll never equal a regular Vita in my book.

I think I'd like one after I get a Vita and PS4 because I'd like to run a bunch of the RPGs the Vita has/will have on the TV. To me it's like the modern Super Game Boy.

This is actually what I'm going to do. The Vita hasn't been downgraded, but it has been exploited with two things. One is the PSP HalfByte Loader and ECFW(Emulated Custom Firmware.) HalfByteLoader is limited to homebrew, like emulators, etc, specifically reduced in size to play on HBL. ECFW is basically your system as a PSP with access to just about anything the PSP can do, including ISOs and PSX eboot files. Because the Vita plays PSX games differently than the Vita, it was originally unavailable until TotalNoob coded in a PSX emulator that works, just has some sound issues and not 100% compatibility, but the games that do work run full speed. This is all on the handheld Vita of course, so just have to wait until an exploited game is announced for the Playstation TV.

Once Playstation TV releases, I'm thinking of waiting until the exploit is announced or a sale before picking it up though. There's almost nothing else to play at retail on the Vita that I haven't already played, so purchasing it as a Vita is a complete waste. I'll be purchasing it as a $99 conversion tool to play emulators and PSP games on my television with a PS3 controller.

Unfortunately, no. At least from what I can tell. Netflix and Hulu are options, but not Prime.

Maybe in the future...

I think I might be buying. As odd as it sounds, I look forward to playing Lumines and Persona 4 Golden on my TV as well as some PSP games properly scaled to my TV (The PSP video-out feature never filled the screen on my TV).

The Vita TV thing would be a cool thing to have when going on trips and being in hotels. It's a tiny device, and you can hook it up to the TV in the hotel, and be able to play some cool games while at the hotel.

Other than that, I probably wouldn't use it all that much.

I have been thinking about this one for a while, and the fact that I sold my Vita some time back for lack of games for it. I just might. Since I sold my Vita, it now has some games that I would not mind playing on it. Plus I am not a huge fan of my Roku box since the games on it suck. Would not mind picking one up for my bedroom TV.
