Wassup! I'm the lead artist on this upcoming Metroidvania style game called Star Saver. It's coming out for iPhone and iPad tomorrow, August 14.

We also recently created a rather ridiculous teaser trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGQ7QAC33cY) for it! We hope you check it out and share it around :p

Some other fun teaser stuff: :cool:

Here's the website -> http://www.starsavergame.com

Our small New Jersey indie team is incredibly proud of all the effort we put into this game to make it special. We hope you check it out and pass along :)

Looks interesting, but will this be coming to Android at all? I got fed up with Apple and bailed on the ipad when it got broken instead of replacing it.

Hi Tanooki,
We are starting the porting process for Android and possibly other systems as well. Right now it's only for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

I remember a Gameboy Game called "The Adventures of Star Saver." It looks like this is completely unrelated tho.

Yeah, it's no relation to the old Gameboy game. If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch it's free to download and play. We basically have a full 1/3 of the game completely free. You only pay once to unlock the remainder of the game.

Wow, finally got it released! I remember you bringing the beta around at NAVA a couple years ago. Congrats.

Kind of a shareware model, huh? Give away the first "episode," offer the rest for $4.99.

But much like Tanooki, I don't buy on iOS... well once I did, but that's just because I got a free download code for a game for pre-ordering its deluxe Dreamcast counterpart (Irides), and by the time I tried to redeem the code Apple had expired the number. Lousy rotten Apple! So I licensed a download of that for $0.99 instead.

Back on topic: please update this thread if you release an Android version of your game. But do know this: I give a rating of 89% to your musical trailer! I don't know about the game itself, but the trailer was well worth watching. Power ballad on, my friends.
