I am looking for the names of 3 really obscure PC games I played demos of.

1) Basically it was a Final Fantasy VII clone. Same kind of gameplay, same kind of low polygon graphics, etc. I remember the demo having a snowy town and you fighting soldiers and wolves. It was not Septerra Core or Silver (silver doesn't even have turn based battles)

2) An Action RPG with inventory management like in most ARPGs where the character's body is shown and you equip stuff to arms, legs, head, etc. It was in 3D and the camera was behind the character, not at the top of him. The demo started at a swamp.

3) A game where you're a lion or lioness and you had to hunt animals. Similar to the game "Lion" but with controls more like the first warcraft game. The camera was top down and I think there was a status and controls bar covering the right side of the screen.

These games have been bugging me for years so any help is greatly appreciated.

The second game could be Ultima IX: Ascension. Drawing a blank on the other two.

Thanks for the answer, I looked at screenshots of that game and the name of the game I was looking for came to my mind. It was King's Quest: Mask of Eternity.

Still looking for the other 2

sorry, I keep forgetting to check the Computer forum...

As for Game #1, something like it seems to be in my memory now too, so I'll be looking. I'm supposing that along with Septerra Core and Silver you've already eliminated actual PC ports of Final Fantasy 7 and 8 from the suspects list?

Maybe Blaze & Blade? That's in the right timeframe.

It was really similar to FF7, but the places you visited in the demo aren't part of FF7. Maybe it was a hacked version, but I never saw one and it seems weird for the time.

Nope, it had turn based battles

No, as I said on my original post
