Dreamcast Box question.

I have a loose dreamcast that I'm going to be looking for an original box and manual for. I know that generally there were two boxes. A white box for launch consoles and a black box for later ones. Does anyone know what box a dreamcast manufactured in october 1999 would have came in? I'm thinking if someone has one made the same time or later and has the white box can confirm that it came in that one.

I have a launch Dreamcast and one manufactured in February of 2000, both bought new and both in a white box. IIRC, the black boxes didn't begin appearing until late 2000.

AWESOME! Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to know. I'm gonna need the white box. Did your february 2000 model come with generator demo volume 1 and web browser volume 1 as well?

The February system has the 1.0 Web Browser in it.

Unfortunately, the Generator discs were both removed from the box and put on my shelf. I'm going to assume that both systems contained Volume 1, as I have two copies of it.
