Hi all,
Trying to figure out the name of a NES game that I watched a friend play some time in the early 90s. For years I thought it was Startropics, but I just played through Startropics (finally) and it's definitely not the same game.
Details from memory are scarce:
-Overhead action/adventure game.
-Conversations with other characters switched to a 1st person view (close up image of the other character in pop-up box).
-I remember a part where you had to pay (400 dollars/gold I think) to have someone join your group or help out in a certain spot. I don't remember if that "someone" was a group of people, robots, etc. but I do remember the "give us $400" dialog occurring in 1st person view.
