Hey all,

I'll preface this by telling you that I'm absolutely obsessed with this game. Since the arcade release, through the Saturn port, the PS2 version, and now with emulation it has remained as my favourite game of all time.

My current mission is to collect every variant possible, and I need your help in identifying these. Maybe someone else is as Saturn obsessed as I am?

With my limited Google-Fu, here is my list of SATURN releases:

Sega Rally Championship [EU] [JP] [US] [KO]
Sega Rally Championship (CD CASE VARIANT) [US]
Sega Rally Championship Plus [JP]
Sega Rally Championship Plus (Saturn Collection) [JP]
Sega Rally Championship Plus: NetLink Edition [US]

Is there anything missing which I should know about?

Also, I'm in the UK and looking for the US + Korean releases. If anybody has these then please PM me, I'm very happy to buy or trade :) As far as I can tel, I have everything else.

There are 2 PAL variants: the cardboard case version and the plastic case version.

Other than that I think you listed them all. I have all of those except for Sega Rally Championship Plus [JP].

Are you only snapping up Saturn versions of it? I mean there is a port of the Saturn game to the PC back in the later 1990s. And clearly you'd know of the sequels as well so I'm just curious.

I have a CD case version of Sega Rally Championship Plus: NetLink Edition. This is the version that came in the "NetLink Game Pack," along with Virtual On and the PlanetWeb browser.

I'm not certain there's a CD case version of the vanilla Sega Rally Championship, though. So that might just be a change to the listed version, not an additional one.

I have it. It came packed in with the Sega Saturn Netlink console pack.

Ah, that is different!

And for what it's worth, mine is disc number 81215. Now that I think about it, this is probably just what was listed in the OP in the first place.

For the moment, yes. I do have a few PC versions but they're not really playable unless you have an older PC running older versions of Direct3D.

Wow, let me say thanks for posting this!

I just picked up one of these NOS copies and it looks like the serial number is different too, 80012 (NFR CD) vs 81215 (Regular Longbox). Interesting variant, I never knew about it until you posted.

The 80012 serial number is the same serial number for the Netlink Console pack. They used the same number for the game and the console. Weird.
