This has been reported in the past by various sources.
Did Eurogamer just stumble upon the Wikipedia page or is it just a slow news day?
Well Soupy, the correct answer is because the film just got an HD re-release on Blu-Ray and Nintendo Life conducted a new interview with the original director as a promotional tie-in thing. Then EuroGamer "echoed" bits out of it into its "own" article.

Blu-Ray?! Too bad it's only Region B for now. Added it to my Amazon.uk wish list for now, but might wait until a region free or Region A release.
