Start off with this. I have a higher end machine that cleans just about every cd and DVD but I'm having problems with a particular stack of gamecube games that include 20-30 Super Smash bros.
Many discs appear to have had attempted restores by cheaper JFJ machines etc and the disc is no longer flat. The ends are rounded off. Has anyone here been able to restore these discs? The disc look perfect when I am done with no top damage but still won't play. When you put in the disc inside the console it makes a clicking sound and gives an error message.
For some reason I see this with Smash Bros more than any other. Perhaps the value leads the novice to try multiple repairs which only makes the problem worse with each attempt.
If anyone here knows what I am talking about and has restored such a disc let me know how to do it.
