So, my wife has decided that my CRT is too bulky and she wants me to use my NES Toaster on our flat screen HDTV. No problem I tell her, I'll just buy a Framemeister for $450 if she wants my CRT gone that badly. Anyway, I thought I could just buy a Framemeister, hook my RCA composit inputs into the FM and be done with it; boy was I wrong. After watching a few videos I find out about RGB, SCART cables, SCART adapters, etc.

My first question is, can anyone here mod my toaster for RGB and how much will it cost? Anyother alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The kit alone to do RGB is $120ish, probably a bit more/less. Installing it isn't a simple task and will easily run you $100. Likely more.

Actually the NESRGB costs less than $100 and I've seen most people charge between $50-60 for an install.

For a bare install or does that include upgrading to a 7805 or anything else?
