Anybody end up getting the Master Chief Collection ?
My kids were really into getting this game today, so I decided to pick it up because Target was having this B2G1 free deal going on. The game is mostly for my kids, but I've also been playing it a bit. I decided to start at the beginning with the original Halo game. I haven't really played the original Halo much since the actual launch of the old school Xbox. When Anniversary came out for the 360, I didn't really play it, but now, in 1080p at 60 frames, it's pretty freaking awesome. I'm really enjoying playing Halo 1 again (at least so far).
My son is playing Halo 2 Anniversary, and they really went the extra yard to remake that game. The graphics are quite a bit better than Halo: CE, and the sound and everything is really improved. The cutscenes are almost jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I haven't checked out Halo 3 or Halo 4 yet.
I wish they also had remade Halo ODST, because I really like the vibe of that game (early on in the game with the jazz music, etc, etc)
