So back in the late 80s I think it was, I remember seeing advertisements for a PC game called Sorcerian. It looked kind of interesting, but I never quite had the chance to see much of the game then. As years passed, I became aware of a PC-Engine CD version of this game, but only recently have I really got into it.
I wasn't setting my expectations too high initially. This version of the game may be a bit hard to navigate for non Japanese folks, due to heavy text. As I fiddled with the menus, I managed to figure out how to get going, and you know what? I am pleasantly surprised! This is a pretty cool game. As an English speaker, I think you can kind of get by alright. I'm having a lot of fun exploring and progressing through the levels. The graphics are a step above the old DOS game, and the musical score is truly a work of art, in my opinion.
An interesting fact about this game: It's actually the 5th part of the perhaps better known, Dragon Slayer series.
Who else out there, enjoys this one?
