How much would one expect to pay, reasonable market value, for an Odyssey2 voice module?

Anywhere between $25-50, depending on condition, boxed or not, who's selling, etc. They used to turn up much more frequently than they have been lately. On the plus side, lots of the die hard O2 collectors already have one, so the supply might be getting back on track with the demand. :)

Sometimes you can find a deal where you'll be able to pick up the console, some games and the Voice! module for around the same price (above) too. I've noticed that when collectors start paring back their collections, the (bulky) O2 stuff often goes early to "make room."

I think Antics is on the money on this one, though I've seen asking prices jumping up to the $40 region lately.

It is a fun piece of hardware though. Smithereens is an absolute must if you bag a Voice module.

Ummm... Chad, to be honest with you, I don't see it. I think that what you see is the manual for "The Voice", and not the unit itself. Here is a link that shows a picture of "The Voice".

yeah, I noticed that after I did that. :embarrassed:

Hey, at least it's still a decent deal, right? :-D

The Voice literature in that lot is a sales brochure. I have scans of it on my site:

Cover (http://www.classicgaming.com/o2home/inserts/image.asp?image=collect/brochure_voice1.jpg)
Pages 2-3 (http://www.classicgaming.com/o2home/inserts/image.asp?image=collect/brochure_voice2-3.jpg)
Back Cover (http://www.classicgaming.com/o2home/inserts/image.asp?image=collect/brochure_voice4.jpg)

Interesting to own if you're an O2 nut like myself and PDF. :)

That lot is easily worth $30. The box seems to be for a factory renewed console (probably had joystick ports inserted by the factory to replace a dead stick). You can tell because it has plain cardboard sides. If you win it, Chad, please drop drop me a line as I've been looking to get more info on the renewed machines.

I also agree that Antics hit the nail on the head in regard to Voice values.

I BINed it. So I should be receiving it in a week or two.

Okay, hosers, NOW I have an O2 voice module!

Now that leaves me with about 5 o2 consoles... 4 of them boxed. Anyone want to trade? :)

DROP.

I have the units, now, if you have any questions you'd like to ask. It's hard to tell which is the factory renewed one, though, since the seller put them both in that box.

I took a look at your web page. Pretty nice! I can say that from the pic of the renewed box you have, mine is likely in much better shape than that one...
