It doesn't have an M68000; I wonder if it can even play Mega Drive games.
Also, lol at "HIGH GRADE MULTIPURPOSE USE" above the cartridge slot.

I had a fake one too new in box, it was in a different box though. One of the many games listed on the back was Super Mario World. I'm almost positive these are actually famiclone consoles, I didn't actually play mine to confirm this.

It'd be really odd for a familiar to have an edge connector on the side like that
I bought a model 2 clone with the same box (along with a PAL Genesis 3 clone) last month. Both I purchased were the same GOAC clones just in different shells.

That is the same thing I thought of. I've never seen one bother with the edge connector or even a heatsink like this one has. Looks like this was an older clone that tried to replicate using actual hardware and not the standard GOAC setup.

That's perhaps the best looking bootleg I've ever seen.

The one I had looks to be on that site, the 2011 Gigatron version with 368 games in 1. I guess it is a Mega Drive clone after all. A lot of the games listed as included just seemed to be Famicom titles to me but I guess they weren't.

I bought it on ebay...as original.I will try to send back it...
If I may ask, do you have a link to the eBay listing where you bought this clone? I'd like to get one of these to run some experiments on the chipset as I'm planning on designing a Genesis hardware clone based around that chipset.

Check the AV jack. Missing RGB output is yet another sign of a fake.

Do legit PAL MD2's have a power switch like that, or a push button power switch? I know the US Gen2 has a push button, which is what stuck out at me first at seeing the pics, but I also know the Japanese one has a switch.

Europe used a button.
