That's cool. The stuff I had when I had SFC was Konami shooters we didn't get (2xtwinbee, 2xparodius), twinbee rainbow bell, the 2 sailor moon brawlers, goemon 2, macross zenki platformer, tekkaman blade, lupin, and others, but nothing exotic. I guess that's partly why I just am not all that caring to start because they're easily had and a few I had I liked are just BS now like Spriggan Powered and I'm not going down that road as like 90% of it was complete in the box.

Yeah, I have a lot of that stuff, but I also go for stuff that's really obscure or that is from a franchise that wasn't big here. I really go after Kunio-kun games, beat 'em ups, platformers and shooters, but lately I've gone after a lot of puzzle or oddball action, like Nazo Makaimura, Odo Odo Oddity, Hebereke games, and other strange like Noon and Time Bokan Go Go Go. I've gotten a ton of bang for my buck by doing a little research and taking chances on cheap games that have very little documentation online. Last year I started posting a little in Import Mania about the stuff I've been digging out over the years, as there is still a pretty wild frontier out there for people willing to take some chances, but I know that kind of untargeted shopping isn't for everyone, which is why I try to share what I find for anyone interested.

I have to admit I spent $100 for a cart and manual of Chrono Trigger. I had paypal money so it felt "free."

Run Saber is such a bad game, a choppy Strider knock off, really.

Ouch, I think you needed a better friend to play with.

Paypal monies make many things feel better when the dough came from other junk games you had no interest in anyway anymore because the cash is just there and it's not out of your actual budget. I'd never have justified anything I put more than $50 forward on if it wasn't for that and I'd still now have various things on the shelf still due to that.

I agree with this. 2 player Run Saber is a good time and what sets it apart.

I'm glad I'm not a huge RPG guy, I'd love to collect more for SNES but I just can't get myself to pull the trigger on those prices. I had a good starting collection a few years ago when my roommate gave me his console with Mega Man X, DK County, Street Fighter 2 and some others. I didn't grow up with SNES. But the most I've spent, I think, was $20 on Super Mario Kart. I have a bunch of great games but just the cheaper ones, no overpriced RPGs or rare titles like Hagane I sniped at a tag sale. Sooner or later my interests will lead to the high end SNES titles tho I'm sure.

Ganbare Goemon 3 SFC and Ganbare Goemon 4 SFC, $20 a pop
Ganbare Goemon 2 SFC $25
Pop N Twinbee SFC $25
Yoshi's Island SNES $25

Time to kick myself again, a few years ago I saw Chrono Trigger for $25, instead I opted for Yoshi's Island. Had the money for Chrono Trigger, but was kind of in a hurry. Went back for it a few days later, it had packed it's bags and left already. :(

Now as a cheap price for an RPG, I bought a regular customer a half pint of cheap whiskey from my workplace for less than $2.50, in return I got Final Fantasy 3, plus my now spare SNES. The guy was just looking to get rid of his old games, didn't argue with him the games value. He knew, but I had been dealing with him almost a decade at that point. Probably will never see a deal that good ever again (and no the stuff wasn't stolen, the guy has never gotten in trouble long as I've known him).

From the looks of ebay, I might have to spend $100 each on a few of the CIB first party SNES games I want back in my collection to get all the inserts the games came with. Even though I want Player's Choice copies of the ones I originally owned as Player's Choice it doesn't seem to make the cost go down any at all these days.

Traded in a bunch of cheap extra stuff at Mega Replay and got Dracula X. They had a $90 price tag on it and only had to come up with about $20. So I was happy.

Nice find, it's worth having the game. Don't believe the lame hater comments who ignore it for the japanese pce cd as they're not even the same game.
