Just before Parker Brothers ultimately won the license to publish Universal's Mr. Do!'s Castle (1983) for consoles and computers, Coleco actually did assign a catalog number, 2685, for the ColecoVision console version and 2695 for the Atari 2600 version, per its 1984 catalog.

It would have been cool if Coleco kept the license (as they had with its predecessor, 1982's Mr. Do!), since with the CV version you could choose four skill levels rather than just the one in the final PB version.

I had not heard of this prototype before. Aside from the skill levels, does it differ substantially from the released version? Are there videos? (I can't seem to find any.)

Me neither, that is why I thought I'd ask about this.

Uh... Then how did you know about the skill levels?

(Also, didn't Parker Bros. Q-Bert technically have skill levels?)
