SNES Color Problem

Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with some of the colors missing and/or displaying in the wrong color on my snes.

7883

Strangely it only displays like this on the menu in game it looks okay. The few games I've noticed it happening with all work fine on my friends snes so it can't be the game itself. I've tried cleaning the cartridge slot, using a different TV but get the same thing.

Any suggestions?

I see you said you tried a different TV but did you try another cable? Maybe composite or S-Video. If it isn't the cables it may be the connector or even the video encoder on the inside. I would try different cables first though. Good luck!
